What it says nowIt is rated 2 of 5 (general context). Bank of Canada and Statistics Canada releases are now capped at 2, because they never change trade rules.
What was wrongMOFCOM Announcement 2026 No. 31 appeared twice in the official updates because two ministry feeds publish it.
What it says nowOfficial documents are now identified by issuing body, number and year. One record is shown, the other address redirects to it.
What was wrongMachine summaries of two CBSA customs notices on the China Surtax Order (2024) presented dollar amounts from the notices' worked examples ("$150", "$37.50") as if they were the surtax. The surtaxes were percentages of the value for duty.
What it says nowThe summaries were withdrawn. Figures that appear only inside a worked example are now discarded, and these notices wait for editor review.
What was wrongThe machine-written reason under MOFCOM Announcement 2026 No. 25 (pea starch from Canada) said the notice "initiates a formal anti-dumping investigation". The notice is the preliminary determination, which imposes a 73.5% deposit from 2026-07-01; the investigation was opened in August 2025.
What it says nowReasons are no longer written by the model. Each reason is a fixed sentence for the document type plus figures verified in the source, and summaries rated 4 or 5 are hidden until an editor has read the document.
